Born in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Monique Lisette Mvemba, the only girl in a family of 5 children, grew up around women (her mother and aunt) who taught her the importance of 100 % Natural handmade products.
As a medical student, She discovered the hidden dangers of hair relaxers and toxic ingredients founded in almost all products used by women of her community that increased cancer risk, hormonal imbalance, infertility and much more.
Driven to protect her community, after her graduation, she developed 100 % natural hair products, made with the best quality ingredients that celebrate and nourish Black hair.
LolluBay was born from this passion, offering safe alternatives for beautiful, healthy hair.
